Guess who's coming to dinner?

President Obama has strongly taken a side regarding the situation in Honduras. And whom does he side with? Hugo Chavez, Daniel Ortega, and Fidel Castro, that's who. Three guys that are known to be socialists, with one being a flat out a communist, and are all around America hating bad guys.

What is most surprising is how fast President Obama decided to make his stance known. Iran? A week. North Korea? Waiting for another sternly written letter. Michael Jackson? OK, he was pretty quick on that one. It took him two days to comment. However, the President of Honduras decides to change his countries constitution illegally, and Obama is out in one day claiming that the Honduran President is a victim of a coup that is "not legal."

Huh?

First a little background. What is happening in Honduras is most assuredly not a coup. And the only person(s) doing anything illegal is the President of Honduras himself. You see, the constitution of Honduras allows for those who serve as president to be only allowed to serve one term, four years. The current President of Honduras, President Zelaya, is non-too happy about that rule. He wants to serve longer. Not sure if the people of Honduras want him to serve longer, but the Congress of Honduras does not. They said no, we ain't changing nothing.

According to Honduran law, the Congress, by Honduran law, are the ones who can allow ballots to be issued for a constitutional amendment. El President had other ideas and asked his friend, America hating bad boy, Hugo Chavez, if he would be so kind to print the ballots for him. Hugo, being the nice socialist that he is, and wanting to increase the roster for his Socialist Leaders in South America club, obliges. These ballots are sent to Honduras and the Honduran Congress is a little miffed about this all. It’s not that they are upset for Hugo's act of kindness mind you, It’s because El President seems to be trying to circumvent the constitution.

So, El President tells the General of the Army to go get my ballots. The General, apparently knowing the ins and outs of his countries constitution, says no. El President fires the General for not doing what El President asks for and deciding to follow the rule of law. Enters the Honduran Congress again, they reinstate the General telling El President to go pound sand. El President gathers a group of fellow socialist, thugs, and other nefarious types I'm sure, and attempts to storm the warehouse where the ballots are stored.

All of this now gets the world media's attention and our very own, President Obama. And what does Obama do? Claims that this coup is "not legal" and that we "stand on the side of democracy."

Apparently not on the side of Honduran law.

President Obama made it clear that he did not want Iran to think we were meddling. He claimed that if it were perceived that way, the Iranian government would take it out on its citizens in not so kind of ways. Like they are doing now. He was worried more people would get hurt. Like is happening now.

However, for Honduras? Screw the people, forget the law, and put my guy back in charge.

President Obama has taken a stand in favor of a guy who wants to create a socialist utopia like Venezuela. He has taken a stand against a sovereign nations rule of law. He has aligned himself with the likes of know Socialist.

You just have to ask yourself what is his motivation here? Is he attempting to set precedent for himself, providing he wins a second term, to change our very own constitution? He often fancy's himself an FDR kind a guy! Can he really be this out of touch?

President Obama is wrong here. Glaringly wrong. President Obama has known people like Chavez and Zelaya his whole life. He grew up around them. It really is no surprise he would now support them. Safety in numbers, I guess.

His fantasy dinner wish list is becoming much clearer.
